I have been super busy lately...Tristan, work, grad school...so I haven't had time to do anything except to sleep. Vincent offered to go grocery shopping during the last few times and I was grateful, the first time, until it became a problem. He's dumb. Don't get me wrong. I love my husband more than words can say but I really am starting to believe that men are dumb without women. Vincent hardly cooks so I can't expect him to remember what cooking supplies we have or don't have. But when I give him a list of everything that we need and he strays off of the list and misses it completely, I start to wonder. This has happened about 6 times. And every time he goes shopping he buys the SAME stupid products that we DON'T need. I mean, wouldn't you learn the first time??? Nope. Not him. And I don't think he's alone. I think men inherited this stupid gene. It's a caveman instinct to buy things because you FEEL like you MIGHT need them. Arrrggghhhh.
Here are some examples:
He got this bag of croutons because he said it "reminded me of you". I don't eat croutons. Nor does he.This is actually a GIANT bag. Not just a small bag, in case you can't tell.
We use BBQ sauce but the right 2 jars we've had for about 3 months. He bought 2 more bottles.
Neither he nor I eat peanut butter. 2 jars. As if 1 wasn't enough.
We have never used vegetable broth. Ever. He decided to buy 4 cans of it.
There is a reason that women exist. So that men aren't left alone. Ever.
