What a Mighty Fine Man

So last Thursday night I was helping the new puppy learn how to climb the stairs (she needs protection from Lilly trying to knock her down). All of a sudden I felt a piece of paper drop and hit my head. I thought my lovely husband dropped a gum wrapper or some other piece of trash so that I would throw it away for him. But when I looked this is what I found....

Allstar

My favorite part is 1) he signed his football jersey number even though he hasn't played in years and 2) he put "allstar" under his name, just in case you didn't know it. How gay.

Needless to say it was a very sweet gesture and I very much appreciated it. We didn't go to the Studio Movie Grill because I was feeling restless and eager to hang out with other people. Instead we went out with a few friends to Glass Cactus at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine. That place is expensive but extremely cool! That patio would be perfect for the summer!! We said we're definitely going back in the summer instead of 20 degree weather....brrrr!! Here are some pics--
