Cuteness!

So, obviously, I'm taking lots of pictures of my little chunky monkey. He has the most expressive face and I love seeing all of his different facial expressions! More than likely, on every blog, I'll share the most recent pictures I've taken of Tristan. He is literally growing every day. We went to the doctor on Thursday for his 2 week appointment and OH MY GOSH, Tristan has grown soooo much! The doctor said that at the 2 week mark most babies are coming back to their birth weight. For those of you that don't know, babies lose weight in the first 2 weeks after they're born and then start gaining weight again. Well, not only has my son gotten back to his birth rate but he has surpassed it by a POUND AND A HALF! He is 8.5 pounds now and he was born at 7 pounds. The doctor actually said that he could stand to miss a few feedings! I love it!! I really hope he keeps gaining weight! Also, he's grown an inch and three quarters and is in the 90th percentile for length. From all the accounts, he's definitely going to be a tall boy!! YAY!!!

Also, last night, Cousin Jenn and Shaun, Aunt Janie and Uncle Marcus and Grandma Martinez came over to see Tristan and BBQ. It was soooo much fun!! And Aunt Janie gave Tristan the most adorable baby blanket and burp cloth!! Her cousin, Becky Dimas, made it! Seriously, she did a great job and we love it!!! Thank you so much Aunt Janie! It was the perfect gift!!!
