The Martinez Mafia: Happy 2 months!!

Tristan is actually 2 months this Tuesday but today he had his 2 month doctor's appointment. He weighs a whopping 12 pounds now and is 23 1/2 inches long!! He is above average for his length and average for weight. The boy is long :)

This last week was busy again. We had another funeral. Our friend Dan's father passed away. All these funerals really do make me realize that life can be taken away at any moment and it's important not to take anyone for granted. It must make Tristan sad too because once again the minute we got inside, he started crying. It was terrible. I had to sit in the back behind closed doors and miss the entire ceremony. Oh well. Funerals really do tear me up and 2 in less than a week might've just been bad-news-bears.

Yesterday we dropped off Tristan at Grandpa and Grandma Lisa's house. We went there this morning to pick him up and take him to the doctor and then dropped him right back off. Last night we took advantage of no baby and had a date night. We went out to eat and then went to see "The Hangover". Ummmm.....it was funny but everyone built it up so much that I was disappointed. It had funny parts but definitely not the most hilarious movie I've ever seen, like I heard it was. I need to stop asking people about movies because they get built up too much and then become ruined.

Tonight we have another wedding to go to and then we're done for awhile. It's crazy how busy we've been. We have definitely become more busy ever since Tristan came along. I don't think we've been this social EVER. And only because we have so many options for babysitters- it's the best! Thank all of y'all SOOO MUCH for watching him! It really does give us a much needed break!

A few days ago we got a package in the mail from my sister, Tamarah, in San Francisco. She gave Tristan a tie dyed onsie with a peace sign in the center- adorable. We wanted to show Aunt Tamarah how cute he looked in it so we took him outside on the swing (which he loves) and took some pictures.

Then since the Splish Splash video was so popular we went back inside and made a video of him dancing. He loves to move his legs right now so he likes when I hold his hands and let him wiggle around. Of course, I moved his arms around to make it look tons cuter :) Then I put it all to music. Enjoy!!
