But Saturday my dad threw a GREAT party for her to celebrate this momentous occasion at the Reata Restaurant in Fort Worth. We had an amazing time!! Thanks Dad!!
Let me take a moment to talk about the food at Reata........the BEST food I've EVER had!! Seriously!!! It was like heaven on a plate. I had steak and shrimp with mashed potatoes and asparagus. And the steak had a bleu cheese butter that was divine. Oh my goodness, my mouth is watering just thinking about it again. I actually had a dream about it.....it doesn't get much fatter than that, folks. Usually I eat about 1/4 -1/3 of my food when I go out to eat but last night I ate every last bite! I definitely will be going back there again!!
But thanks again, Dad for a great time!! A lot of thought was put into this party and it showed!! It was really nice to have 5 out of 6 brothers and sisters there, too!! It was a really nice way to show my mom how much her family supported her and how super proud of her we are! We really are proud, Mom and can't wait to see how and what you will do in the future :)
