Keep On Truckin'.......

So I have about 4 weeks to go (less than a month!) and I am ready. The contractions are growing stronger and my patience is growing thinner......literally. Everyone has been getting on my nerves recently. Usually I have no problem with women saying stuff about the way that I walk and how miserable I look but lately it's taken everything in me to not same something back when someone tells me how terrible my waddle is. Really??? You think?? Thanks, Captain Obvious! I can feel myself way over annoyed but I can't stop it. But one of my books says that the closer I get to birth the amount of patience I have goes down drastically. It makes sense to me because I am extremely miserable but hopefully it makes sense to those around me........

So Baby Martinez is really big right now so when he moves around or kicks it makes my entire stomach move and it's kinda weird to see. I tried to videotape it so that those who have never seen something like this can see it. But apparently he knows that he’s on camera because when I start the video, he stops. Once I get it on camera, I will share it :)

I heard at work a few days ago that there is a reason to all the Tums I’ve been devouring. This lady at work told me that if I have a lot of heartburn that usually means that the baby has an above average head of hair. Well, I went home and perused the Internet and sure enough, it’s true. Johns Hopkins University did a study and found most women with severe heartburn have babies with above average amounts of hair. Since I have gone through 2 bottles of Tums in the last 2 weeks, I’m going to assume that this baby will be hairy :)

So the baby’s room is done being painted and the furniture is all set up but we just got all the bedding and decorations in the mail this week so I will finish putting everything up tomorrow. As soon as it is done, I will try to post pictures. If I go into labor anytime soon I will be sure and text everyone even if it’s the middle of the night :)
I'm pushing for the safe zone of 37 weeks so cross your fingers that it will be sooner rather than later!!!
