The Martinez Mafia: My Old Kentucky Home

This past weekend I went to visit my bff, Morgan and her husband, Jake in Louisville, Kentucky. Vincent couldn't come because of work so that kind sucked. But it was the BEST time ever! I seriously had a great time. I really needed to get out of my house and I definitely needed to see Morgs! The flight out there was really rough because it was delayed 3 hours and then the actual flight was constant turbulence. I hate flying and it was really tough to fly without some sort of medication to calm me down. On top of that, the baby was going crazy. I mean, if my ears are popping just imagine what his felt like......

On Saturday Morgan threw me a low-key baby shower and I had a great time. Although I couldn't drink with the rest of my guests, I still enjoyed the games we played! Watching the guys chug beer out of a baby bottle was the best :) But best of all was seeing all the girls- Bethany, Mitchell, Amanda, Hill, and even Stoess!! (and yes, I will continue to call these ladies by their last name even though they're married now--sorry but I can't call them anything else) Thanks everyone for coming and for all the great gifts--it rocked my world!

I also want to mention what a trooper Jake was for putting up with my cravings for the ravioli at Martini's Restaurant. I had to eat it as much as possible and he was very understanding for letting me eat it 2 nights in a row!! Thanks Jake!!

I can't wait till Jake and Morgs can come down and visit but it may not be for awhile...... I guess that means we'll have to go up there and visit them with our new baby instead!! :) Can't wait!! Love you guys!!!
